Last I heard all they had was their pilot plant in Missouri, but I'd imagine it would deal well with this sort of waste.Lorenhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/14843550881990596267noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24847368.post-16039685675396694182009-09-25T07:48:24.929-07:002009-09-25T07:48:24.929-07:00J Paige: Very true. I was amazed a few years back when I took a look at the advanced energy recovery systems being developed by waste treatment corporations, and being installed at municipal and corporate plants.

Brian: Heh. Most people get all the skank they need just looking in the mirror.

You may want to check out alfin2500 if you truly like skank.al finhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13739269791915017382noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24847368.post-12671849460325087322009-09-24T07:10:01.096-07:002009-09-24T07:10:01.096-07:00There are many anaerobic digesters at municipal wa...There are many anaerobic digesters at municipal waste treatment systems. Because it takes special expertise to run one properly they often are not efficient. They also produce lots of reduced S compounds. But scrub the off gas and run it through a stationary high-temp fuel cell and you have volts. With a bit of engineering, WWTP could be modified to run more of the waste/biomass through the digester, optimizing electric output. There are quite a few WWTP in the good ol' US.Unknownhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/03451443587468778455noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-24847368.post-90250324466599075552009-09-23T18:02:44.220-07:002009-09-23T18:02:44.220-07:00Skank is a relative term. I hope one day I'll read an alfin2300 post that announces 100% benefits on fuels, power, impact or budgets. In the meantime I'm subscribing because it's as much fun to watch skank as it is to discover news.Brian Hayeshttps://www.blogger.com/profile/07685476905189798246noreply@blogger.com
